Take a trip with our Mary Poppins' style Carpet Bag. Our classically-styled Carpet Bag has all of the appeal of traditional carpet bags yet it also has many features that make it practical to use. The Carpet Bag is a great carry-on size and will fit under an airline seat, even when it's packed to its fullest.

It has 2 handles and an adjustable, removable, padded shoulder strap. The pad on the strap moves along the strap and has 1/2" of protective padding that truly protects your shoulders.

The Carpet Bag has one flat exterior pocket with a zipper closure. It is a good size for slipping a magazine or book into and also for your tickets. It is fully lined with our durable, water-resistant lining fabric in a beautiful coordinating color. The interior has 3 pockets, one flat zippered pocket along the back and 2 stash pockets on the sides. The interior also has a removable hard base that provides a firm base for your contents (and a place to hide money or important papers), and which also allows this bag to be machine washable when removed.

A Note About Our Construction And Washability

Since 1989 River Sauvageau has been designing and creating high quality bags in luxe fabrics with elegant and practical styling. With an emphasis on construction detail never seen by the end user, her bags have proven to please for almost three decades now.

The whole line has been designed and made to be machine washable, a great boon with fabric bags. Machine wash in cold water with mild detergent and air dry. Dirt and skin oils can wear on fibers therefore washing your bags occasionally, especially if used daily, will extend their life.

No leather is used on these vegan bags.
