Honoring the phases of the light through the year, the Solstices, Equinoxes and Cross-quarter days, River hosts a Women's Sacred Circle Gathering every 6 weeks in Ojai, California.
In the Sacred Circle we gather around the Earth Altar. It is a gathering place that is consecrated with prayer and song where we may speak from the heart. In this safe place we touch upon our individual and communal perspectives, and bear witness to ourselves and each other. By bringing our distinct color to the mix we weave the fabric of community together. A deeper wisdom is revealed when we allow our vulnerability to be expressed and witnessed with acceptance and love.
After the ritual we share potluck finger foods to ground and celebrate.
This is non-denominational earth based spirituality and all religious and non-religious beliefs are welcome and accepted.
No monetary exchange is required, though gratefully accepted. Suggested donation is between $20.00-$40.00. Donations are given after the circle so no one is turned away due to lack of funds.
