This describes a painting I am working on which is part of an Initiaition By Fire Mandala we are doing as a group here in Ojai. We had a 7 week workshop which combined ritual, expressive arts and elemental exploration culminated by the creation of a group mandala. As we are coming to completion of the mandala there is a mythic figure that come through one of the artists in the group. I have been charged with painting her and here I explore who she is.
