The first bag in our line, the Large Backpack was the original inspiration for the Studio Sauvageau line of "Voyageur Carry-Alls". Updated and restyled, our Large Backpack has many features you'll be fond of.

Please check our "Fabric  Collection" page for additional fabrics you may choose for your custom-made bag. Select your favorite material from our list of fabrics and the Large Backpack will be specially created and made by hand, with great care - just for you!  It takes about 4 weeks to have your custom order made and delivered to your doorstep.

The Large Backpack has three outer pockets: One large, zippered box pocket which zips across the top for easy accessibility and on either side are flat phone/glasses pockets (two in all). These are curved at the top to easily slip in your glasses/phone in and out. The outside of the bag also has a fabric loop at the top for grabbing your bag.

The main compartment opens with a zipper and includes three pockets: there is one large pocket in the middle, with a Velcro tab, and two smaller pockets, one on either side. A swivel snap hook for your keys hangs from the inside top. The shoulder straps zip together to form a sling strap or separate for conventional backpack carrying. The Large Backpack has the capacity of a large purse.

The Large Backpack is fully lined with our durable water-resistant lining fabric in a beautiful coordinating color.

13 1/2" wide x 15"high x 5 1/2" deep base.   Shoulder Straps: 1 1/2" wide x 30" long.

A Note About Our Construction And Washability:

Since 1989 River Sauvageau has been designing and creating high quality bags in luxe fabrics with elegant and practical styling. With an emphasis on construction detail never seen by the end user, her bags have proven to please for almost three decades now.

The whole line has been designed and made to be machine washable, a great boon with fabric bags. Machine wash in cold water with mild detergent and air dry. Dirt and skin oils can penetrate fabrics and wear their fibers, washing your bags occasionally, especially if used daily, will extend their life.

No leather is used on these vegan bags.
