Custom Made Holly Bag

Studio Sauvageau's Holly Bag is a large and exquisitely detailed bag that allows you to transport your essentials (and more) with practicality and panache.

 Select your favorite material from our Fabric Collection and the Holly Bag will be specially created and made by hand, with great care - just for you!  It can take about 4 to have your custom order made and delivered to your doorstep.

Inspired by a request from our customer Holly this tapestry bag can be used as a large purse, work Tote, Gym Bag, Carry-On Bag or Diaper Bag.

The exterior of this bag is made with lots of practical pockets. On either side of the Holly Bag are stacked pockets bordered by top-stitched handle straps. The base pocket emerges two inches above the outer pockets. The outer pockets are top-stitched onto the base pocket with a dividing center stitch, creating 2 pockets. These are slightly flared at the top for accessibility and ease of use. The base pocket is large enough for a half-size journal or paperback books. The straps are stitched up to the sides of the pockets to just below the zipper top, to allow a full 26" length. This length allows the bag to be comfortably slung over the shoulder (even over a coat) and, for a person of average height, can be carried at arm's length without dragging on the ground. Two additional pockets are found on either ends of the bag, each flared at the top and wide enough to accommodate a water bottle, and a plethora of other things!

The Holly Bag has a zippered top opening which secures the interior contents while allowing for unimpeded access when open.

Inside the Holly Bag, which is fully lined with our durable, waterproofed lining fabric are five clear vinyl pockets. On one side you'll find two  open pockets in which you can easily slip your things in and out of. On the other side you'll find two wider pockets which are zippered across the top. There are two sliders on the zipper which allows for maximum versatlity of use. One pocket can be opened while the other one stays zipped shut.

The base of the Holly Bag is wide and tapers to a narrower top. The base of the bag is fortified with a flexible material that provides a firm platform for your contents.

A Note About Our Construction And Washability

Since 1989 River Sauvageau has been designing and creating high quality bags in luxe fabrics with elegant and practical styling. With an emphasis on construction detail never seen by the end user, her bags have proven to please for almost three decades now.

The whole line has been designed and made to be machine washable, a great boon with fabric bags. Machine wash in cold water with mild detergent and air dry. Dirt and skin oils can wear on fibers therefore washing your bags occasionally, especially if used daily, will extend their life.

No leather is used on these vegan bags.
