Evita Ultra Bag in Blue Butterfly Wings Tapestry

Made in in our lovely mid-weight tapestry fabric with a woven pattern of scattered butterfly wings. The colors are royal blue, turquoise, sky blue, jade green and black. Lined in indigo.

The Evita Ultra is the largest and most grown-up member of our Evita Family of handbags.

Made with the same proportions as the charming Eve Bag, the Ultra (we pronounce it "Ool-tra") is a tapestry handbag sized for those of us who need a larger purse. With two exterior pockets to put the things you want to get to right away, handles that also fit over your shoulder and adorned with a beautiful coordinating button, this purse is a winner from first glance.

Three pockets grace the interior of the bag; two on one side and a large, zippered pocket on the opposite side. The reinforced base provides a flat bottom regardless of what you put inside. It is lined with our durable, waterproof nylon lining fabric in colors that coordinate with the fabric.

River Sauvageau sources unique buttons for the Evita Ultra Bags. Each button is carefully chosen to alchemically enhance the pattern and colors of the fabric, bringing out the inherent beauty of the design.

Vintage, antique, new buttons from antique molds, hand carved, mother of pearl, metal, glass, horn, ceramic, plastic, wood, bakelite, gemstones and vintage brooches, single or stacked, buttons have all been used on our bags.

A Note About Our Construction And Washability

Since 1989 River Sauvageau has been designing and creating high quality bags in luxe fabrics with elegant and practical styling. With an emphasis on construction detail never seen by the end user, her bags have proven to please for almost three decades now.

The whole line has been designed and made to be machine washable, a great boon with fabric bags. Machine wash in cold water with mild detergent and air dry. Dirt and skin oils can wear on fibers therefore washing your bags occasionally, especially if used daily, will extend their life.

No leather is used on these vegan bags.
