The Medium Boat Bag is Studio Sauvageau's answer to the "Back Bag".
You can choose the Medium Boat Bag to be made in any of the materials we have in stock. Select the fabric you want on our ¨Fabric¨ page and it will be specially created and made by hand, with great care - just for you! It takes about 4 to 6 weeks to have your custom order made and delivered to your doorstep.
This larger purse can carry many things but as soon as you put it on your shoulder, it feels much lighter. This tapestry purse is one of our structured bags, and this and the broad boat shape and wide shoulder strap (1 3/4" wide) distribute the load in this bag making it feel significantly lighter when you carry it.
The exterior of the bag has many pockets to help you organize your daily essentials. One side has 2 flat pockets so you may slip your things inn and out easily. The opposite side has a large, voluminous zippered pocket that acts as a separate compartment. The main body of the bag has a zippered top opening and 5 interior pockets, 2 pockets on one side and on the opposite side 3 pockets. This bag is shaped with our firm yet flexible structuring material, which provides a firm shape while still allowing for machine wash-ability. The shoulder strap is 1"-wide and this purse sits comfortably over your shoulder, just above your waist.

A Note About Our Construction and Washability
Since 1989 River Sauvageau has been designing and creating high quality bags in luxe fabrics with elegant and practical styling. With an emphasis on construction detail never seen by the end user, her bags have proven to please for almost three decades now.
The whole line has been designed and made to be machine washable, a great boon with fabric bags. Machine wash in cold water with mild detergent and air dry. Dirt and skin oils can wear on fibers therefore washing your bags occasionally, especially if used daily, will extend their life.
No leather is used on these vegan bags.
